Manejamos desde Washington. Más de cuatro horas de camino. No somos fans de los Steelers o Buccaneers. Pero Vicente y yo teníamos una meta. Conocer un nuevo estadio. Esta vez tocó el Acrisure Stadium, casa de los Acereros de Pittsburgh. Para mí, el estadio #15 que visito.
Los que me conocen saben de esta meta. Visitar todos los estadios de la liga. ¿Qué hay con los estadios de la NFL que los hacen tan especiales y parte importante de la experiencia de ir al americano?
Pasó un buen rato. Probablemente como dos años. Ya vacunado y con precauciones, me animé. Mi regreso a un estadio. Primer evento masivo desde el inicio de la pandemia. No me sentí raro. Lo disfrute mucho.
Ya vacunados y después de un año de americano sin aficionados, se antoja regresar al estadio. ¿Por qué no visitar la nueva casa de mis Raiders en Las Vegas? Al buscar boletos mi sorpresa fue que para el season opener vs. Baltimore, ¡no bajan de $700 dólares! ¿Por qué el precio por ir al americano es tan caro, que raya casi en un lujo?
Ha pasado más de un año de pandemia. Las vacunas contra el COVID-19 empiezan a estar disponibles. La NFL puso a disposición del gobierno los estadios de la liga para convertirlos en centros masivos de vacunación.
